Cleaning With Vodka

The cleaner your home is, the unhealthier it may be...

Fact:  People spend 90% of their time indoors and the EPA has stated that indoor air quality is 2 to 5 times more polluted than the outside air.

Using homemade natural cleaning products makes "cents" because it is cheaper, healthier and non-toxic, and it is fun!

Jeanne does not sell any products.  All the products she uses are probably in your kitchen cabinets.

A manufacturer can omit any ingredient that it considers a secret formula from its label, and many of these secret ingredients are toxic and carcinogenic.

VOCs (Volatile Organic Chemicals) are toxic fumes outgassing from househould cleaning products.  Chemicals and household cleaning products, building materials, paints, furniture, and heating systems can contribute to poor indoor air quality and an unhealthy house.

Vodka Recipes:

Vodka is not only fun to clean with, but safe because there are no toxic fumes or VOCs.

Vodka put in a spray bottle and spray to absorb the bad odors, instead of using a toxic room or fabric freshener like Frabreze.

Vodka is a disinfectant.Vodka cleans diamonds and metal jewelry

Vodka removes adhesives and Band-Aids.

Vodka removes hairspray from surfaces.

Vodka removes stains especially red wine stain, but apply quickly before stains set.Vodka easily cleans chandeliers, spray on and let drip dry.

Vodka can be cheaper than commercial cleaners and is non toxic; the alcohol evaporates, and is not harmful.

Although, the alcohol in hand sanitizers is harmful and should not be used on children because the alcohol is absorbed  into the body via the skin, therefore use only hand sanitizer that are plant based from the health food store or just good old soap and water.
